Research use policy

Every item in the Harlow Sciences catalog is a laboratory reference material supplied for in vitro research. Nothing we supply is a medicine, a dietary supplement, a cosmetic, a medical device or a diagnostic product. Nothing we supply has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration or by any comparable authority for any use in humans or animals.

Material may not be administered to a human or an animal by any route, in any quantity, under any circumstances. It may not be resold, transferred or repackaged for that purpose.

We do not publish or supply dosing information, reconstitution calculators, dilution schemes, administration protocols, cycle guidance or comparable material. We will not provide that information in response to a direct request, and we will not provide it where the request is framed as hypothetical, academic or on behalf of a third party.

We do not sell bacteriostatic water, sterile water for injection, needles, syringes, alcohol swabs or any other administration supply, and we will not source them for a customer.

We do not publish customer testimonials, before and after imagery, therapeutic claims, weight loss claims or performance claims, and we do not market to consumers.

We supply researchers and research institutions. Accounts are reviewed before a first release. We record the institution or entity, a stated research affiliation and a shipping address consistent with the account.

We do not supply individuals purchasing for personal use, clinics or practices administering to patients, compounding or dispensing pharmacies, or resellers intending onward sale for human use.

Certain catalog items are restricted and are released only against documented institutional review. Restricted items cannot be purchased on an unreviewed account regardless of order value.

Catalog orders carry per line quantity limits. Orders inconsistent with laboratory consumption are held for manual review, including repeat high volume ordering on a new account and mismatched billing and delivery details.

Where a review concludes that material is intended for administration to a person or an animal, or for onward sale to someone who intends that, the order is cancelled and refunded and the account is closed. We do not provide a further explanation and we do not reinstate closed accounts.

By ordering you confirm that you are a qualified researcher or are purchasing on behalf of a research institution, that the material will be used for in vitro laboratory research only, that it will be handled by trained personnel under appropriate laboratory conditions, and that it will be disposed of as laboratory chemical waste in accordance with applicable regulation.

You are responsible for confirming that import and possession of the material is lawful at the destination.
